How many treatments will I need?
This depends on a number of things. Each treatment plan will be individually tailored. As a guide, when treating a specific problem or condition a course of Reflexology is usually 6-8 treatments. 1 session of Hypnotherapy can be enough to make lasting changes, some issues will require a little more work. |
Does Reflexology hurt?
You should be comfortable throughout the treatment. Where there are areas of congestion it is beneficial to work them until they are clear, but this is all led by you and we only work within your comfort zone. |
How can you work on people's feet?
Like their owners feet come in all shapes and sizes and all are lovely in their own way! Treatment cannot go ahead if there is any injury or infection to the foot or nail. I always appreciates clean feet, but for those coming straight from work, wipes are provided for a quick freshen up. |
Are you going to tell my fortune? |
I will at no time diagnose illness. When we start your treatment programme I will already have a good indication of your health and wellbeing – you will have told me! When working on your feet I may find areas of congestion that will then prompt me to ask you further questions. Taking a holistic approach to treatment will also involve considering the emotional aspect of your condition. Your feet will tell a story but only part of it. If you have any major health concerns or require a diagnosis for a suspected illness your first port of call must be your GP. |
What if I can't relax?
Don’t then! All you have to do is recline for 45 minutes, the treatment will still work. |
What if I can't be hypnotised?
Anyone who wishes to can experience hypnosis. |
Will I know what is happening? |
Absolutely! You are aware and in control at all times. |
What does Hypnosis actually feel like? |
If you have ever been so engrossed in a film or good book that it feels like you're actually in it or perhaps you've driven a familiar route and ended up at your destination without quite recalling the journey, that's what it's like. |
